Written & performed by Alexis Sakellaris & directed by Madison Cole, this is an original musical comedy romp about the art and power of stanning. Born in New York City as a closeted kid, Alexis is forced to follow his family to... rural Germany. Ugh. Diva down. Discovering women online is his only salvation: Céline, Whitney, Mariah, Beyonce, Aretha... you name em, he got em. They are his MOTHERS.
They teach Alexis everything he knows and he becomes an EXPERT on them, setting him on the path to finding his own inner diva. With 10 original songs, sung and played live on keyboard, Alexis shares the queer joy he discovered in stanning, while also confronting the hardships (somehow being obsessed with women makes you... gay?! News to me...)
Join Alexis as he navigates the culture clash and finds out what it truly means to be a stan... and how it may not be so good for you after all. Does this queer Bo Burnham have what it takes to be... a lil gay diva?!
